Details about sendgrid.com account

To send branded emails from the app, i.e. from info@amazingdomain.com we need to use a third party email service.

If you already have a sendgrid account, please add support@azkytech.com as a teammate to the account. See

[Inviting us as a teammate to an existing sendgrid.com account](https://www.notion.so/Inviting-us-as-a-teammate-to-an-existing-sendgrid-com-account-72378f8197b3455481f1e7261ec2007b)

Note: Bubble.io is tied quite heavily with Sendgrid.com and we recommend only using it. If your app has certain reasons why it cannot use sendgrid.com, please contact zubair@azkytech.com

Head over to sendgrid.com and sign up to the free plan.

Note: In 1 other project, the free plan was unable to deliver emails to a yahoo.com email address. Yahoo would bounce the email as spam. After upgrading to the essential plan, the emails would go through. We will let you know if it needs to be upgraded.

Creating an account requires a few business details. Please fill them out accurately so that the account is approved without any hiccups

Back in sendgrid, we recommend setting up 2 factor authentication

Then head over to the teammate section.

Please add support@azkytech.com with admin permissions

The following step can be complicated, do ping us and we can assist.

Verify the domain with sendgrid.

This will let sendgrid.com send emails as anything@amazingdomain.com (if amazingdomain.com is the domain of the app)
